Grandpa's Birthday

Here is a picture of Katherine and Grandpa on his birthday! 67th Birthday to be exact. I made him an angel food cake! We had a great time doing little projects around the house! Always appreciate his visits!

The short month is almost over...

HI everyone!

So Jason and I got the floors put in and when we did they found water damage to the subfloor etc. etc. so....we have to have part of our roof redone to fix the whole problem...contracors = $$$. I will put up a pic of the floor soon.

So Katherine had her first Valentines Day and it was super sweet! She was adorable. Dad is here to visit for his birthday and Jason has been working super long hours. He even got really sick and still went to work...that's dedication. Katherine has been teething again at least that is what I attribute her not eatting to. So I let her feed herself. You can see the results of that....more work for mommy

Will keep you all post on Jason's deployment etc. There is a chance he may have to go to the Ghan for a site survey in March but we are hoping not.

8 months today!!

HI everyone,

I know it has been awhile since we have been on to post! So here is the run down...
Jason has been busy with work as usual. I have been selling some of the things Katherine no longer uses on a local yard sale website and I am totally addicted. I even sold our dining room table and got a new one off the website. We will be getting our hardwood floors in about a 13 days. As far as Katherine goes...she had her GI check up and she is still low on the weight scale but she is doing well. We are allowed to try and reintroduce Soy. She is also teething with one little tooth poked through...so cranky cranky cranky. It also snowed here the past weekend and we got to get out and build a snowman. Partly because Katherine's Nana Stephens demanded we do so ;)

Also, We found out Jason will be called to duty yet again. As we all know this is how the military life works it will be hard but we will survive. It isn't going to be until late summer sometime and the date isn't totally set yet. However, it is never to early to ask for prayers for Jason's safety and for Katherine and I while we are home without him.
