I am ready for the good changes!

So! I have decided while Jason was gone that I would revise myself. Become a better me! Take that extra time to make me feel and look good in the morning and it all started with some scissors!

Since I am rounding the last year of my 20's I want everyone to know. I am not afraid. In fact I am embracing this change. I have a great husband and a loving child. I am changing physically...okay we can ignore those changes. But over all! Jason is going to come home to a great family!

So everyone SAY YAY!!!

Updates:

Okay so for those of you who read my blog...I am not going on the cruise :( Jason said no and then changed his mind but now the rate went up again so...have fun for us!!!

Katherine is starting to eat better which is always good news! We have also changed her pediatrician so we are hoping we get better outcomes with that. She will be seen for the first time on Tues at 9am

Well not much else to say have been busy with family and loving the time with and without the baby.

My day in a nutshell

Got up Fed Katherine
Got her dressed for school
Got in the car to go to school
Drove to school --- had to take a detour
Pulled into parking lot
Katherine Vomits (Already knows how to miss school)
Clean her up
Drive home
Sit on couch with sippy cup and crackers
Nap time!!! (Thank you JESUS YOU ARE GOOD!)
Slept till 3. AHH I did too :)
Got up ate very little
Drove to Dr
Sat there for an HOUR :(
Katherine has Strep Throat
Was at DR. Office total 2 hrs...ugh..
Drove to Walgreens
Sat for 20 mins :( Still no RX
Went home ate some dinner
Washed out vomit from carseat
Gave Katherine a bath
Put carseat back together
Friend picked up Katherine's Medicine (LOVE MY FRIEND THANK YOU THANK YOU)
Gave her meds...(that wasn't fun)
Put her to bed
Got me ready for Bed (feel like I was hit by truck)
DOG TRIED TO EAT my LEXAPRO! (Could have been interesting)

Totally Exhausted

Hi everyone,

I am totally wore out! Really I think the Cat and Dog are harder to take care of than Katherine sometimes. They were banging all over the house today and the Dog was eating all of Katherines snacks right out of her hand. I smacked his butt and his cried and then I felt sooooooo bad. Ugh... Any advice on how to get him to stop?

I did some sewing for myself today which felt nice. Went nice and slow and watched a movie while I did it.

Well I am off to bed. The little one is sleeping or talking nicely to herself so... I am going to close my eyes. Hopefully she will be off to school tomorrow so mommy can take a mental break and clean for Nana's visit.

Hi everyone!

So the day is ending and I have to say I am very thankful. It was a slow day and I am hoping to get lots of rest tonight. So I am going to make this post short.

As I said in my last blog with his address feel free to start boxes. However, I will try to get a list of NEEDS for him and the other guys there that might make it easier. Sounds like TP and Sanitary things however are on the top since they have to use Porta Potty's (and they have been there awhile....) ugh.

Jason has arrived safely! I am going to provide you all with his address but don't send him large amounts of anything right now as he is sleeping in a tent and they don't really have facilities built. (he is using a porta potty so hygiene stuff might be a good thing) ICKY!  ALSO, NO MATTER HOW PROUD YOU ARE OF HIS RANK DO NOT INCLUDE IT!!! Write the address exactly as shown.

The days are slowly moving.

Hi everyone,

I hope soon to have an address for Jason. He spoke to me on Sunday and he is pretty certain to where he is going to be. So as soon as I have it I will let you all know. As I am sure he will too because he is a sucker for boxes :) For some reason I thought this deployment would be easier since I have mini Jason at home with me...but it isn't. It really makes you realize how much of a role the other person plays in your life. So...YES JASON I APPRECIATE you more than you will ever know! (look see in writing ;))

Sorry inside joke to the marriage retreat Jason and I attended.

Anyway. Just keep us all in your prayers. Katherine seems to have caught a little bug and has the runs...icky. But we are hoping all is well by the morning so she can go to school and I can get some stuff done :)

Still looking for my balance and trying to not stay house bound. I know I will find it soon enough.

Afghan Deploy Begins....

Hello everyone,

As today as been an emotional whirlwind for me and the baby I am now in bed trying to tell myself I can do this! I have done this before (without a house, dog, child and being more than 2 hours away from my dad....) so truely please pray for Jason's safety first and foremost and my sanity second!

I am going to share a link of the photos we took saying bye. Which was different for us this time too because we kept it super short. (I didn't want to be the babbling brooke infront of Katherine) too late. (She laughs at me anyway.)
