Talking to the baby

Hi everyone!

Well Jason and I tried to scan in the pics of my last ultrasound but the scanner doesn't work with Window's Vista. So.... it is ok the 4D ones were better anyway and stand by in March we will have a few more and you can really see her!

So Jason is out of town for the evening which leaves me at home with the cat. But today I actually accomplished something. I went out and bought a couple of books so Jason and I can start reading to the baby in utero. I also got a little CD of Baby Bible songs and played it for her today. My cousin Sherry sent me these little speakers you can place on your tummy and talk to the baby or have her listen to the CD. So I played the CD and she kicked for a little. Not sure if she liked it or not but it felt good to play it for her.

I am having a slightly rough time bonding at this point with the baby because it is hard to really believe she is in there...well until she kicks me in the bladder then I know. But sometimes it feels akward talking to my belly. But I am working on it :) I am sure once she is here I won't be able to set her down!

We also found out today that the military lets Jason have paternity leave with out counting it against him!! YEAAAAA it is only 10 days but I am so thankful that we will have that bonding time with the baby together.

Well not much else to post today. Been kind of dragging these last couple days with allergies etc. (Told Jason maybe we should get rid of the cat and he said NO! ) I was totally surprised that they have bonded so much....goes to show you :)

Love,
Jenna and Jason
